Sunday, May 10, 2009 @ 1:09 am ♥ had Mothers' Day celebration just now.. went over to one of the eatery at Bedok North for steamboat dinner with paternal family, and catching up with them was good.. the food there was average, but despite the fact that i was full.. and at the same time, i had to do some hand exercise too.. because i had to shoo the flies away from contaminating the food.. so you can imagine what kind of eating place it is.. at times, i really think that i have a cute mama.. she actually can pronounced Mas Selemat as 'Nasi Lemak'.. no one else can understand what's she's saying except herself, because afterall she's not a English educated woman.. and that we have no choice but to laugh, an intentional laugh.. Mothers' Day is a day when us children show our warmest gratitude and love for their selfless hard work, care and patience all along.. for our family, although we don't give cards or buy flowers, but my mama believes that as long as we are filial, create no trouble for her, everyday is like mothers' day.. i admit that i will shoot her back when she nags at me too much, and i sincerely apologized for that, but nobody likes being nag right?.. bearing us for 9 months is not easy, what's more is the 3 of us.. maybe i may not be able to feel her sacrifices now, but perhaps in the near future when i myself become a mother, i will truly understand that everything is for our good and its not easy bringing us up to where we are today.. i just wanna say, 老妈您辛苦了.. HAPPY MOTHERS' DAY MAMA, & I LOVE YOU! (: |
